Review: Hittite Warrior

We just finished reading this book this morning. This is a very good read for parents and children. It is the story of Uriah the Hittite warrior (not the husband of Bathsheba). His family is killed when he is young and he comes to live in Tyre, one of the chief cities of Canaan, during the time of the Israelite judges. One of the things I liked best about the book was the way the author dealt with the idolatry of the time and specifically the worship of Moloch. he will also encounter Deborah and Sisera and fight in the famous battle told in Judges chapter 4. The author also does a good job of keeping the plot interesting with several twists and turns.
