Matt 15:9 reads “But in vain they do worship me, teaching for doctrines the commandments of men” – plainly showing it matters what we teach, that our doctrine is critically important to our salvation. II John 9 reads “Whosoever transgresseth, and abideth not in the doctrine of Christ, hath not God. He that abideth in the doctrine of Christ, he hath both the Father and the Son.” Clearly we see that if we don’t stay within the doctrine (teaching) of Christ, we don’t have God – we can’t be saved.
Two weeks ago we started a new radio national program focusing on the doctrine of Christ versus religious error. It is to air every Sunday night at 8:00 central on SiriusXM Family Talk channel 131. If you subscribe to satellite radio, we encourage you to listen. Please also encourage others (especially those in denominations) to listen and call in.
We plan to discuss the doctrinal differences of believers, and to point out what the Bible actually says regarding those issues. John 8:32 teaches only the truth will set us free from sin (religious error won’t do it), so that’s why we will emphasize the truth versus the false doctrines of men. Be sure and listen this Sunday to Bible Crossfire …
